Having accepted that her fiance, Orphius, has abandoned her, Moreta has chosen to move on and allow her growing feelings for Craspy to flourish.
It took a somewhat forced marriage to Seth, which could not be sundered unless she spoke aloud where her true love lay, to get her to admit that she was in love with Craspy.
As it turns out, Seth was hired by Ramius to take part, as a way to get her to admit her true feelings and stop hiding from them.
She finds herself more and more in love with Craspy every day, so much so that it often frightens her. She has never felt quite this way before and it is wonderful!
